Apply to collect, trade, or export scrap and metal under legal authorization.
The scrap and metal industry plays a key role in waste reduction, recycling, and material reuse. To prevent illegal trade, theft, and environmental damage, all businesses or individuals involved in the collection, sale, export, or handling of scrap metal must be licensed.
These licences are governed by specific national regulations to ensure that scrap metal activities are traceable, ethical, and environmentally sound. Whether you’re a small collector or a full-scale dealer, the services listed below help you operate within the law.
