The Community Sport Titans initiative celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to sport at the community level in Trinidad and Tobago. These are the mentors, organizers, and volunteers who have transformed lives through their dedication to sport and service, often with little recognition. This programme highlights their impact and shares their stories to inspire others.
Eligibility for Recognition
Individuals with a history of sport leadership or volunteerism in their community
Proven track record of mentoring youth, organizing events, or promoting sport development
Nominations can be submitted by sport clubs, schools, or community members
Recognition Benefits
National spotlight and formal recognition from the Ministry
Featured stories and interviews shared through government and media platforms
Opportunities to participate in mentorship initiatives or advisory boards
Submission Requirements
Completed nomination form
Supporting letters and evidence of impact (photos, testimonials, event history)
Brief biography and overview of nominee’s contribution
Cost
Free of charge.
Processing Time:
Typically 3-5 weeks after submission
Selected individuals are announced during key national sporting observances and may be featured in official campaigns.

Step 2: Complete the Nomination Form
Download or fill out the online nomination form. Attach all required supporting documents.
Step 3: Submit the Package
Send your full nomination package to the Ministry via email or designated drop-off points. Await acknowledgment and selection announcement.
