Easily extend your visit to Trinidad and Tobago by scheduling an appointment.
The Immigration Division of the Ministry of National Security facilitates Visitor Extension Services for foreign nationals wishing to extend their legal stay in Trinidad and Tobago. Whether you’re here for family, business, or leisure, this service ensures your extended stay complies with national immigration policies.
We recommend submitting your request at least two (2) weeks before your current entry or extension stamp expires to avoid overstaying penalties or interruptions in your visit.
Why Apply Early?
Processing your extension may take several business days.
Early booking helps prevent visa violations or travel delays.
You may be denied re-entry in the future if you overstay without a valid extension.
Who Needs a Visitor Extension?

Visitors who received a previous extension and wish to extend again.
Travelers who encountered unexpected delays requiring an extended stay.
