Processing typically takes up to 30 working days
Step 1: Download and Complete the Application Form
Visit the Ministry of Works and Transport website and download the official Tint Exemption Application Form. Ensure all sections are accurately filled out.
Step 2: Gather Supporting Documents
Prepare all necessary documents to support your application. This includes:
A valid form of identification (e.g., Driver’s Permit or National ID)
Certified Copy of the Vehicle Ownership
A medical certificate (if applying for health reasons) or an official letter (if applying for security/professional purposes)
Step 3: Submit Your Application In Person
Visit the Transport Commissioner’s Office or your nearest Licensing Office and submit your completed form and documents. Be sure to retain a copy of your submission for your records.
Step 4: Wait for Review and Notification
Your application will be reviewed by the Licensing Authority. If approved, you will be contacted to collect your Tint Exemption certificate.
