The Elite Athlete Assistance Programme (EAAP) provides direct financial support to high-performance athletes who represent Trinidad and Tobago in regional and international competition. The initiative is designed to ease the financial burden of training and preparation while helping athletes achieve their full potential and elevate the country’s global sporting presence.

Eligibility 

Must be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago 

Must represent T&T at an elite level (regional/international events) 

Endorsed by the National Governing Body for the sport 

Covered Areas

Travel and accommodation for competitions and training camps 

Coaching, nutrition, and medical services 

Equipment and gear essential for training and competition 

Required Documents

Completed application form 

Letter of endorsement from the relevant National Governing Body 

Proof of participation at elite sporting events

Step 2: Complete the Application 

Download and fill out the EAAP application form. Include all supporting documents such as proof of elite-level participation and NGB endorsement.

Step 3: Submit for Review 

Send your completed package to the Ministry as directed. You will receive confirmation once your application is under review.
