A Movement for Confidence and Connection

The GirlsRunTT Challenge is a national initiative by the Ministry designed to inspire, uplift, and strengthen young women and girls through running, mentorship, and holistic development. This program not only encourages physical activity, but also provides participants with tools for personal growth and confidence.

Service Details 

Eligibility 

Open to girls and young women across Trinidad and Tobago, typically between ages 11–21. 

Program Focus Areas:

Physical fitness through structured running challenges 

Confidence building and personal development sessions 

Community mentorship from established female role models 

Mental wellness and self-care education 

Required Documents

Registration form, valid ID, and parental consent for minors.

Cost

Free of charge. 

Program Duration

Typically runs in cycles of 4–6 weeks. 

Additional Info

Special prizes, virtual events, and ongoing support networks provided throughout the challenge.
