About GATE eService

The Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses Programme (GATE) is managed by the Funding and Grants Administration Division (FGAD) of the Ministry of Education (MOE). The GATE Programme advances Government’s philosophy for developing human capital, entrepreneurship and for permitting access to education for all.

 

Using the GATE eService, students will be able to access the GATE Programme through online submission of applications anytime and anywhere. Students will also be able to manage their applications and enquire into the current status of application(s) submitted. Students will be notified of their application status via email notifications.

How to Apply

Each file uploaded must not exceed 3Mb.
File type supported: .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt.

This application submission process will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare Identity Documents

Birth Certificate

Passport / National ID Card (front and back)

Deed Poll (for name change)

Marriage/Divorce Certificate (for married / divorced women)

Step 4: Prepare Academic Documents

Latest Result Slip / Transcript (for continuing student)

Acceptance Letter from Institution (for student pursuing new programme)

Step 5: Prepare Means Test Documents

Documents supporting income such as:

Salary

Self employed

Government Pension

Disability Grants

NIS

Child Support

Alimony

Rental Income

Allowance

Public Assistance

Scholarships/Bursaries

Other
