| Description | The South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) is desirous of acquiring a Maintenance Proposal, along with the associated costing, for the maintenance of the Fire Alarm and Detection Systems at the Point Fortin Hospital (New); Corner Techier and Southern Main Road, Point Fortin. The scope includes, the Ground floor, Levels 1 and 2, and the four (4) Penthouses on the roof of the main building, as well as the Engineering and Daily Paid Departments along the perimeter of the main building. The Contractor will Test, Inspect, Maintain, and Certify the Fire Alarm Panels and Detection Devices at the facility. They are required to perform maintenance services at the manufacturers’ recommended intervals. The Contractor will satisfy requirements of the latest standards, conform to the equipment manufacturers’ recommendations and verify safe operating condition of the Systems in the Facility, so as to maintain compliance with existing laws, guidelines, standards of best practice or any other requirement in keeping with the Trinidad and Tobago Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act (2004) (Chapter 88:08), OSH Standards, as well as the relevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The service reports, including reports on repairs for non-compliant, defective, malfunctioning or inoperable equipment such as those found during the course of system testing, inspections, response to emergencies, or preventative maintenance, will have to be provided to the SWRHA Technical Representative for signature upon completion of the service/repair job. The Contractor is required to ensure that all equipment and devices for the system is functional and operational at the completion of all Service/Repairs Jobs. On-Site Emergency Service Response is required by the Contractor at any day and any time, where emergencies (Emergency Call Outs) will be determined by the Engineering Department. The Contractor is required to provide the contacts for the required personnel to address all Emergencies. |
