| Description | The South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) wishes to provide within the confines of the Operating Theatre and Areas Annexed at the San Fernando General Hospital Extension, a clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Main Operating Theatres are located on the first floor and comprises of the following main areas: a) Six (6) Operating Theatre Suites; b) Endoscopy Theatre; c) Reception and Recovery Areas; d) Sluice Rooms; e) Clean and Dirty Utility Rooms; f) Kitchen; g) Staff Change Rooms; h) Staff Washrooms; i) Waiting Area; j) Offices; k) Bridge Link; l) Elevators and Western and Southern Staircase. The scope of cleaning works are detailed as follows: a) Floors and Skirting; b) Walls and Ceilings; c) Windows and Fitted Panes (Internal); d) Fixtures and Fittings; e) Kitchen Sinks, Wash Hand Basins and Sluices; f) Bathrooms, Shower Stalls, Toilets and Urinals; g) Cills and Rails; h) Vents (Air Condition, Supply and Extraction Grills); i) Furniture, Blinds, Drapery, Beds Bunks and Trolleys; j) Doors and Handles; k) Elevators and all Staircases; l) Counters and Shelves; m) Housekeeping Equipment and Garbage Bins; n) Emptying of Waste Bins and Replacement of Garbage Bags; o) Pick-up and Removal of Garbage Bins and/or bags; p) Removal of Stains; q) Emptying of Clinical Waste Bins; r) Cleaning of Sluice/Dirty Utility Rooms; s) Cleaning of Disposal Rooms. |
