| Description | a) Patient Controls: Each bed to be equipped with a pendant type hand control as standard equipment. Each control function (head, knee, and high/low) has to have two clearly identifiable switches for up and down travel. The controls to be designed to prevent damage to the motor in the event of both up and down functions being activated simultaneously. b) Nurse Controls: The nurse control to be located at the foot end of the bed with the following functions: i. Head section control ii. Knee section control iii. Bed high/low control iv. Patient control lockout switch ( with indicator light) c) IV Receptacles: The bed to be equipped with six (6) IV sockets on the bed, four (4) at the head end (2 ½”, 2 ¾”) and two (2), ½” sockets at the seat section. |
