Paediatric (Children's) Healthcare Services
Healthcare is provided free of charge to all children under 16 years of age in Trinidad and Tobago, including non-nationals. This includes every type of healthcare, from vaccination to surgery to intensive care.
How do I access paediatric healthcare?
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when visiting any health facility. Patients are dealt with on a walk-in basis - there is no need to make an appointment. On arrival, it is necessary to complete the patient registration form provided by the attending nurse.
