What assistance is provided?

A caregiver will be provided by the Division of Community Development and Culture to assist the elderly person with living activities during the daytime.  The Division will hire and pay the caregiver.  The caregiver service is provided for as long as the health and financial situation of the applicant remains in the same.  If their situation changes, e.g. the person moves to an extended care facility, or the state of health and capability improves, the funded caregiver service will be re-evaluated.
