Soil Testing

Extension Services

Regular site visits are conducted by agricultural county officers to provide assistance to farmers and monitor the development of crops and livestock. Any request for assistance from registered or unregistered farmers can be directed to the nearest county office.

Youth Involvement in Agriculture

A number of programmes and initiatives targeting youth are conducted by the Ministry of Food Production. These programmes seek to provide individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 with the knowledge and skills that enable participation in agricultural activities, both at home and as a profession.
