Public Utilities and Environmental Complaints
If you have a cause for complaint relating to the environment or any public utilities (postal, water and electricity services) in Trinidad and Tobago, you can file a formal complaint with the Ministry of Public Utilities. The Ministry acts as a mediator between the parties involved and aims to resolve all matters in a satisfactory manner.
Issues related to telecommunication services should be referred to the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT). Please follow the link in the Quick Links section for information on TATT.
How can I lodge a complaint?
You can submit your Customer Complaint/Issue form at any ttconnect Centre or with the Business Services Unit of the Ministry of Public Utilities.

What information do I need to provide?
Basic information such as your name, telephone number and address is required. A detailed description of the problem should be provided along with any documentation that may be relevant to addressing the specific complaint.
What happens after my complaint is lodged?
The information provided will be assessed and the appropriate action will be taken to resolve the issue. The complexity of the matter will determine the length of time required for the complaint to be settled.
For matters pertaining to public utilities (water and electricity services), you may also seek assistance from the Regulated Industries Commission (RIC) if the Ministry is unable to resolve the issue. Follow the link below for more information about the Regulated Industries Commission.

There are no fees associated with the lodging or resolution of a complaint.
