The Sport and Culture Fund facilitates the provision of sporting and cultural activities in Trinidad and Tobago by providing grants and loans to deserving individuals, groups and organisations. The objective of the Fund is to nurture and develop human and technical resource capabilities in sport and culture while encouraging self-reliance of groups, associations and individuals undertaking related activities.
Assistance will be given to ventures that are deemed by the Sport and Culture Board of Management to be of benefit to the community or the nation as a whole. An organization, group or individual that receives funding from the Board will be required to wait for a period of 24 months before seeking further assistance from the Fund.
Funding can be provided for the following activities:
Organizations, groups or individuals engaged in activities that promote and encourage excellence in sport and culture can apply to the Fund for partial funding of those activities. There are specific eligibility requirements depending on whether the entity requesting funding is an organization, a group or an individual.

Applications should be made through the national organization or association that governs or promotes the particular event, project or programme for which assistance is being sought, where one exists.

Applications must be submitted at least three months prior to the start date of the event, project or programme for which assistance is being requested.
Once a completed application form and all required supporting documentation have been submitted, applicants will be notified of the Board's decision to provide financial assistance within three months.
