Bus Service for the Disabled

The Public Transport Service Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (PTSC) has buses with special features that make it easier for adults and children with physical disabilities to get around.  All buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.

Who is eligible to use this service?

Anyone who is unable to use conventional public transport because of a disability is eligible to use this service.

Where can I board the bus?

Buses for the disabled run on specific routes on weekdays.  Buses depart areas such as San Fernando, Arima, Chaguanas and Diego Martin at 6:30 am to take passengers to work and school, and return at 3:00 pm.  Please contact the PTSC at the numbers below for information on scheduled bus routes and stops.


You can also call to have a bus for the disabled pick you up at your home for trips to government offices, the grocery store or other day-to-day destinations.
